Guided bike tour. City of Arts and Sciences

We will start our bike tour of the City of Arts and Sciences from the Serranos Towers, ancient Gothic gates that were part of the city wall to protect Valencia from invaders. We’ll explain the history of this incredible monument in Valencia.

After that, we will go down to the “lungs” of the city of Valencia, the Old Riverbed of the River Túria, which used to surround the whole city. Today, the Parque del Río Túria is one of the largest urban parks in Spain, due to the large number of green spaces that are found in it and which represent all the richness of the Mediterranean flora. With more than nine kilometres of playgrounds, sports fields and romantic spots to relax and hide from the heat, it is an ideal route for cycling.

Following the river towards the sea, we will come across the City of Arts and Sciences, but before reaching our goal, we will stop at the famous Palau de la Música de València. This Palace is one of the most emblematic buildings on the River and one of the most important musical centres in Europe. If you like classical music, we advise you to book a ticket for any concert.

The next stop before the target is Gulliver Park, a giant and impressive playground for children and adults, where there is a giant statue of Gulliver, where you can glide around pretending to be part of the Lilliputians from the famous novel.
